Men: It’s okay to talk about low testosterone.

The TRAVERSE research study is enrolling now.

Doctors are testing a testosterone replacement therapy and how it impacts cardiovascular disease

Low testosterone (hypogonadism) can lead to decreased sexual desire and energy level, and depressed moods. Right now, the TRAVERSE study is testing testosterone replacement therapy in men with low testosterone (hypogonadism) and a history or risk of heart disease or stroke.

If you volunteer and qualify for this study, you’ll receive testosterone replacement therapy or placebo and study-required medical care at no cost. If you’re interested, click the link to the online questionnaire to get started.

If you take part in the study, you may potentially receive:

  • Testosterone replacement therapy or placebo
  • Study-required medical care
  • You also might be eligible for some compensation for participation.

You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • Are a man 45 to 80 years old
  • Have symptoms of low testosterone (hypogonadism) such as decreased sexual desire or energy level, or depressed moods
  • Have a history or risk of heart disease or stroke
  • The study doctor will check other requirements to confirm that you’re eligible to join the study.
